The highest-rated and most innovative standup comedy show in Canadian history, Comics! delivered 115 episodes in its successful eight-season run. Starting out as a low-budget late night experiment, it ended up in prime time and for a while was the third highest-rated program on the CBC!
    The format was simple -- each half hour devoted to one comic or troupe, performing standup or sketches in front of a live audience, combined with sketches, sitcoms, fake reality shows, or mock documentaries shot on location.
    Some of the stars featured include Mike McDonald, Brent Butt, Jeremy Hotz, Harland Williams, Bonnie McFarlane, Kenny Robinson, Russell Peters, and many more.
